Hacienda Tucán was born with the determination to merge tradition and design, offering a Premium oil that guarantees our quality. Its founder, Tomás Padilla, is an Entrepreneur (CEU) from Jaén dedicated to the oil sector for 25 years, an Expert in olive growing and olive oil technology (UJA), Olive Oil Consultant (ESAO), Oil Mill Master and Sommelier (European Tasting School), always passionate about the search and defense of the best extra virgin olive oil, carrying out incessant research work on new nuances and aromas with possible positive attributes in our olive grove.

Olive passion instilled by his father, a broker of bulk oils and seeds with a long and successful professional career of more than 50 years, based on his commitment to provide security and confidence to the market. On the other hand, he later also followed in his mother’s footsteps, training as an Interior Designer (IADE) and Landscaping (DMAD), forging his marked Mediterranean Tuscan style, amalgamated with tropical vegetation, always present in the Hacienda.

Biodiversity is another important point within the farm, the name is due to a toucan that existed on the property when he was child, brought by the family on a trip through the Americas. He wanted to give a touch of fantasy and bring together all these elements that transmit good memories and beautiful elements of life, since a good meal accompanied by EVOO can be made anywhere in the world and, from our company, we will try to make it possible and close that sensation.

In addition, our grain of sand in the fight for Spanish farmers to be able to carry out the entire chain of processes until the final commercialization of the product from their land. In recent years there has been an inflation in terms of new brands in our country, for which we are happy and encourage them to continue venturing, since despite being the largest oil-producing country in the world, for many years we have not been the first exporters of packed.
