JADE by Hacienda Tucán
Jade Imperial is a limited edition made with picual variety olives, coming from the highest parts of our farm, collected in the first days of early harvest, giving it that picual green hue characteristic of our Jaen area. Its production process is carried out with the utmost care, ensuring that the optimal properties of the oil are obtained.
Its aroma reminds us of the fragrance of the hundred-year-old olive groves on the slopes of the Sierra Morena, bathed by the Guadalquivir basin. Fresh grass and tomato dominate that feeling.
Being our best jewel and acquiring a hue similar to the Jade stone. This nomenclature dates back to the time of the Spanish conquistadors in the Americas.
More than any other gemstone, Jade is revered at the heart of Asian culture. Considered as a real gem, called by the ancient Chinese the “Gem of Heaven”.
The most beautiful specimens, of great purity and of an intense emerald green, were so coveted by the Chinese emperors that they were given the name Imperial Jade.

EXCELLENCE IN OUR DISHES
Delicate and silky to the touch, Jade would be equivalent to our precious EVOO not only in terms of its luminous pigmentation and vivacity, but also in terms of the refined taste and smell provided by its high degree of wonderful polyphenols.
Impregnating its fruity flavor green grass, tomato, green almond, artichoke and fig tree. All this fusion creates the distinguished and exquisite flavor that defines it, and which in the mouth feels sweet, moderately bitter and somewhat more spicy, but in a very balanced way. Carrying out a meticulous production process, combining tradition and innovation, we managed to cultivate the best Picual Jaén olive oil.
The care of our fields is the main objective to achieve the highest quality in our EVOO. We select the best located olive trees, in the upper parts of the farm, which provides them with the maintenance of an optimal and ventilated temperature. The result culminates in the meticulous collection of the most exquisite fruits.
The bottle intended to preserve this elixir could not be other than our elegant bottle, designed to enjoy a refined demijohn at the table or in the kitchen.
